Information, lots of it. More than seems possible to pack into three days. At least, that’s what it feels like at Principal Global Investors’ Summit Series Forums. Every October, we gather our clients and investment professionals from around the globe to share insights and ideas about the world we live in.
Sessions may cover the U.S. presidential elections, or Brexit, or the sharing economy, but at their heart, every session is really about how our lives, our work, and the world interact. And recently, a lot of that interaction has been changing. Technology is changing. Businesses are changing. People are changing. That’s what drove the theme for our event this year: Navigating an Era of Change.
As we prepared for this year’s conference, we started by looking back…and we realized how different the world is now than it was when we started holding the Summit Series Forums in 2008, the year of the financial crisis. That truly was the beginning of an era of change. But we feel that information and discussion can help lend form and solidity to what can often feel like chaos. The wilderness isn’t as daunting when you have an expert guide. And that’s the feeling we try to bring every year to the Summit Series Forums.
This year, you can get a taste of the experience, virtually. We’ve put together an Executive Summary with video clips and session highlights. Full session videos will be available, so I encourage you to check back.
