Markets Rally with Relief – Reaction to March FOMC Minutes (Video)

Back in March, I commented on the bond market’s reaction to comments made by Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen following the March 18-19 Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting, Fed Said Higher Rates Ahead – How Will Bonds Respond? The formal meeting minutes were released Wednesday (April 9) and investors focused their attention on two main areas. Here are my thoughts on the meeting’s impacts on markets and what this means for investors.
