It’s been tried elsewhere with disastrous outcomes (aka hyperinflation ). That’s why he said the US Dollar is a joke. The USD is the world’s reserve currency only because of our history of staggering economic success which led to our military might.If other countries decide the US Dollar is not sound, they will cause BIG problems for us. It doesn’t mean America is necessarily doomed but that there appear to be some VERY rough economic times ahead for the USA.That’s why Fleck and MANY others see gold as a good bet. It won’t be pretty, but I suspect Americans will do what it takes to meet any challenge. It’s just sad we have to wait until we’ve got a full blown crisis. But, that is the nature of man
